Our take

With the world spending more time on the internet, it's no surprise that more money is being spent online than ever before. The opportunity to find products has never been easier with social channels like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube being host to countless retail ads.

Despite the rise in eCommerce, buying products online can at times still be a difficult process and this is something Canal is solving for D2C brands. They are creating a "distributed digital economy" with a network of integrations across e-commerce platforms, and a webapp that connects consumer brands to the places that could sell their products.

Founded in 2021, the company has already received backing from top eCommerce and technology investors such as Forerunner, Andreessen Horowits as well as industry leaders from Shopify, Stripe, TikTok, and Facebook.
