Our take

Parachute provides responsibly manufactured modern home and bedding products. The company found a mid-range niche in the home goods sector that previously only offered high-end or budget options and has proven popular with consumers looking for quality goods that are not mass-produced. Its capitalizing on a trend of emerging specialist direct-to-consumer brands that began with companies like Warby Parker and Harry's.

Initially based purely online, Parachute has since launched several physical retail shops to attract new customers and boost its image. Its product range has focused on natural fibers and items made with manufacturing processes that don't use chemicals. Explicitly tailored towards the modern consumer, its direct-to-consumer model has been driven primarily by strong social media campaigns with influencers.
