The process of waste disposal is currently difficult, with few companies providing digital options that put sustainability at the core of their operations. Moreover, fly-tipping in the UK is costing the government over £1 billion per year. Litta aims to solve this problem by developing an easy-to-use, affordable and sustainable waste removal service.
Its platform connects customers and businesses with approved licensed waste carriers. Over 96% of items collected through their platform are recycled and diverted from landfills.
Litta has recently raised £2 million, which will be invested in expansion across the UK. The company has recently launched its service in Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow.
