Our take

For many event and appointment-based businesses, such as yoga studios and cooking schools, the management of marketing, reporting and ticket sales can be stressful and extremely time-consuming. Momence solves this problem by providing an all-in-one software platform for event-based business management.

Founded in 2020, Momence is a relative newcomer, but its growth has been accelerated by the support of Y Combinator. Although there are plenty of SaaS business management platforms on the market, few cater exclusively to small events businesses, and by tapping into rising demand among SMBs of this kind, Momence has secured an impressive early foothold in the market.

Momence's strong focus on saving events businesses time and money has proven popular so far. The company will need to continue to invest in its platform development and outreach in order to maintain growth, as it eyes up securing broader brand awareness.
