The StuRents products are fantastic and constantly expanding. While working here you'll get a great feel for how the products interact with each other, and how the underlying code works - So interesting!

The team at StuRents are so nice and supportive. It's a small but growing team of driven individuals working together to create a fantastic product.

We have the freedom to do things in our voice which sounds and feels more natural, rather than following a hard script. I feel like I can do the work in my manner, style and really use my own ideas to approach all tasks.

People can really make or break a working experience and here everybody is genuinely the best. Everybody is happy and willing to help even people in higher positions are super down-to-earth and easy to talk to. There isn't a strong feeling of hierarchy or corporate restrictions on who you can/can't ask questions. It's core at StuRents.

My manager creates this super fun and interactive learning experience where we get to use posters, sticky notes and markers which kind of brings me back to school. I think this approach is what makes me feel closer to my team and I am not afraid to talk about what I find useful and what might need more work.

Feels like the decisions that are made are reasonable. The managements team cares about the culture of the team, supports diversity and is always open for clear communication. Probably, that is the one of the core reasons of company's success so far.

Support from teammates as well as managing team and challenging tasks go along the way. This is a cool place for growth. The synergies are well-managed between the departments. That is encouraging!

If I could go back in time, I'd apply for StuRents again. Good team that make a good product, valued by the clients. Every day there's something new to learn and apply in your work. I love the balance of autonomy and support in my team.

Having witnessed the company grow over a number of years, it has been great to see our product set expand and continue to evolve. What the company is achieving, has and will continue to shape the market, to the benefit of our customers.

The pandemic has led to both professional and personal challenges for most. The company has always looked to do the right thing, ensuring it's workforce is properly looked after. For example, home working set ups were provided without question early on. Personal development is supported too.

I joined StuRents as an entry level employee and have felt supported by all areas of the business throughout onboarding and further development. My manager made a strong conscious effort to introduce me to all departments across the company and open communication pathways with them. Everyone is always happy to help and they put in the time to teach the method not just provide an answer when applicable. All questions are always address in detail so you walk away from every conversation with greater clarity on any topic. There is also great transparency, if an unknown issue or challenge is presented, its tackled together. My team has great check-in's to keep communication lines open and we get one to one development meetings weekly with our manager. We also have monthly one to one time with our Head of Department regarding development.

With the product growing, changing and improving daily, we're constantly learning. It also means no two days are ever the same. I find that we're encouraged to continue learning every day. This is aided by accessible Head of Departments, Directors and Founders. We're also regularly asked what we'd like to be doing/learning more of. So the work opportunities are presented where our interest and strengths lie. It keeps it fresh and challenging. External opportunities to learn have also been presented.

Being someone that has been burnt out at previous companies, it was important for me to find a workplace that helps set the boundaries and balance the workload for you. StuRents has been just that for me. Although I am always busy, I never feel overwhelmed. There is an effort made to reduce stress through good leadership, realistic and fair deadlines and constant support. There is variation in my work, both reactive and proactive and I have never ended a work day without feeling like I had made a positive contribution to the business.

The StuRents platform is a leader in the proptech industry, helping property managers and private landlords to market their properties to student and professional tenants, manage the contracting process, handle rental payments and deposit protections and provide great service to tenants. It’s a true multi tenant SaaS platform built to scale using modern web technologies.

When you work at StuRents you are working with a team that makes a genuine difference to tenants and property managers. We help students and young professionals find affordable accommodation in their preferred location and contract and pay their rent safely.

You'll be working as part of small teams on various projects that last around 6 week. Each project will likely be touching a different area of the site. You could be maintaining legacy code in one project, and then building completely new systems using modern tech in the next. Plus, the whole team is always helping each other out, and the on-boarding does a good job of getting you up to speed.

You'll be working on a monolithic PHP app, but there's plenty opportunity to use modern tech like AWS, React, Typescript, DynamoDB, Next.js, etc..

The whole team are nice and personable. Non of the devs have egos and are always ready to lend a hand. Most of all, the lead dev is a really great guy whole goes the extra mile (maybe more!) to help and make sure you can do your job.

During the interview process, the StuRents team was keen to identify the areas I was hoping to pursue in my career. Since starting, my work projects have included many of the opportunities I had suggested in those early stages. I am developing in the direction I had hoped which is a great feeling!

The leadership team at StuRents have a clear vision of the direction and future of the company. They communicate that with the team and ensure everyone is working toward the same goals. They are always on hand to lend support and guidance. It's a very positive environment to be a part of.

After joining StuRents remotely, the entire team was nothing but supportive, welcoming, and friendly! There are opportunities to socialise both remotely and in-person when appropriate. I couldn't ask for a better team.

The leadership is clear and focussed but without micro-managing the team. Everyone is valued and allowed to bring their diverse ideas to the table.

StuRents is scaling fast but without losing the core of what makes the product and team great. The momentum means that no two days are the same.

Due to the speed at which StuRents is scaling, everyone is continuously picking up new skills and personal development is a key priority here.
