Its platform helps the underserved SME market to manage freight bids, quotes, shipment status, and carrier performance.

Portex’s software is not just designed for SME efficiency but empowers the shippers too. Its broker-agnostic system means that freight shipping companies can balance their pricing and service needs with the requirements of the SMEs bidding for their space. Portex’s smart analytics system ensures that customers spend 80% less time on freight tasks and slashes costs by 30%.

Portex has enjoyed steady growth since its founding in 2020. It’s on track to reach an important milestone of $100 million in annualized freight booking, coinciding with a seed raise of $6.3 million in 2024. These funds will be used to accelerate its AI product development.
