Our take
For small to medium enterprises, it is easy to take advantage of offerings in the Shopify ecosystem. But eventually, many companies scale beyond what Shopify can support and they find themselves having to develop their own eCommerce platform in-house. MOOT was founded when a company found itself in this exact situation, and other companies approached it to use the tools it developed.
MOOT isn't alone in this space, with Shopify and WooCommerce beginning to offer solutions for brands which are ready to scale. However, as well as the effectiveness of its promotional tools and data insights, MOOT's strength lies in its size. Major brands such as ASOS, Bosch and Timberland have trusted it as an eCommerce solution, giving it a leg up in the competitive $5 trillion eCommerce sector.
