Our take

Monta is an EV charging company that is building ways to make it easier to charge EVs from wherever you are. In order to do so, the company is working to digitise the EV charging ecosystem via a charging management platform.

Transforming mobility is a leading global effort towards a greener society and European cities are rapidly seeing the uptake of electric vehicles. In spite of this, there is a dearth of EV charging points, and Monta is trying to rectify this issue through its unique all-in-one EV charging platform, which makes charging vehicles simple and seamless, thereby increasing the adoption of a more sustainable method of transport.

Monta has invested its efforts toward opening up new markets, specifically North America, whilst consolidating its market position in Scandinavia, the UK, and Germany, as well as creating transparency within the electricity market and continuing to fund digitising the power grid infrastructure. Recent funding invest further in R&D alongside expanding its partner network.
