Although Orchard is by no means the only digital realtor in this growing market, it has a selection of options and services leveling the playing field with major competitors such as Zillow and Open Door. These include a concierge service which streamlines major hurdles in selling a home, and the company covers the costs and organization involved in improvement work to get houses market-ready on the seller's behalf.

Orchard is also the only company to offer a simple one-time commission fee for selling homes, differentiating it from rivals which also charge a service fee on top. Its strategy is proving successful, and it has quickly expanded across 7 US cities with more in the pipeline.
